We are well on our way into the 2025 seasons with esports teams and tournaments. Check out the highlights below:

KCP Returns to ALGS; 2nd in Pro League Day 1

The Pioneers have returned to a beloved esport, Apex Legends. Announced a new roster that features some of the best young talent in North America to make a push toward a world championship LAN spot.
Sirsay J., Cruelbuckle, and coach Sorawiz look to make waves and make a name for themself this spit.

That made an instant splash in Pro League Day 1, finishing with the most kill points and 2nd overall in a stacked lobby featuring some of the teams like Falcons, Liquid, TSM, and more. Make sure to cheer them on next Pro League day on September 7th

Texas Motor Speedway Results

Another wild playoff race in the books. The race started off very ugly, with several cautions in the first 25 laps of the 100 lap race. There was a lot of strategy involved on when you should pit or when you should stay out with so many opportunities to take on more fuel and fresh tires.

Casey Kirwan, racing for the championship four, had some trouble early getting caught up in one of the wrecks and took a wall bump, but battled his way back after an early pit when the race ran green for over 50 laps. Similar to last week in the top 4 with fairly fresh tires and ample fuel, poised for a top finish, another late caution came out, causing the field to reset. His lane unfortunately got caught up by someone with bad tires after he and the other top 4 drivers pitted, forcing him all the way back to 19 with 10 laps to go.

But he wouldn't let that deter him as he found a way to battle back and push up ten spots to finish 9th in the race. Unfortunately for him, another playoff driver won the race securing another top 4 spot. With only one race to go, Casey sits 3 points back of Parker White, and 11 points ahead of the next closest playoff driver. He can secure his spot with a win, or outscoring the other playoff drivers. It all comes down to Phoenix Raceway on September 16th.

KCP Enters The Finals

The Pioneers continued an esports push by entering the newly minted game "The Finals". Approaching their first event event and LAN at Dreamhack Stockholm in Sweden, KCP is one of the first orgs to try its hand at making their mark on the space.

Brendy, Llama, and Sponz will have one chance to move past the open qualifier this weekend on September 6th. They will have to battle almost 400 teams to make the top 8 and move onto the closed qualifier.
