KCP RLCS Takes 2nd. Tied After 2 Opens

The Pioneers returned to the pitch for RLCS Open 2. The squad of Sweaty, 2Die4, and Spanish import Luis lost a heartbreaker 2-4 to Five Fears in the Grand Final. All eyes now turn to Open 3, where the likely winner of this expected Grand Finals matchup will head to Boston for the first Major and a lead in Worlds points.

The top two teams in the region continued their reign of dominance. Neither squad has dropped a match to anyone else besides each other. And a vast majority of individual games come down to one score games and many overtime periods. Two overtime periods accumulated over 12 minutes of game time!

The final Open before the Boston Major begins this weekend, with the Pioneers returning to the pitch for the Swiss Group Stage on January 25th, starting at 9am Central. You can catch the action the Pioneers Twitch channel.

KCP Finals Roster Departure, New Team Pending

KCP recently announced the departure of the inaugural Finals Roster of Brendy, Llama, and Sponz. We want to thank them for accomplishing everything they did under the KCP banner. From qualifying straight through uppers in the closed qualifiers, rocking our KCP bundle, and taking top 8 at the first ever Grand Major. We know they will go far in their esport careers

This is no the end of The Finals for KCP. A new roster is loading, and an announcement will come before the start of the new season in February. Stay tuned on KCP Socials!
