We are well on our way into the 2026 seasons with esports teams and tournaments. Check out the highlights below:

KCP RLCS Takes 2nd in Open 4

While the Pioneers ultimately finished 2nd place in Open 4, it was a bit rocky throughout. It started with a nice 3-0 in Swiss stage, but once it got to the group stage, the Pioneers dropped a 5 game set to Astronic Esports, a top 5 team in the region. KCP bounced back nicely in lowers with a 3-0 win over the Punishers by a score line of 17-1.

Qualifying through lowers meant starting in Lower Bracket Round 1. They ran through the lower bracket totaling a 12-1 in victories and ran into their nemesis of Five Fears again. Sadly KCP came up short 0-4 in the Grand Finals, though three games were one goal games including two overtimes.

Now with their backs against the wall, KCP needs to most likely win the next two opens to qualify for Paris and Worlds. Open 5 is already under way with the Pioneers sweeping their Swiss Group 3-0. The Group Stage and Playoffs will be this weekend! Make sure to turn in to cheer on the squad
