Pioneers Enter the Mobile Esports Scene with Brawl Stars

The Pioneers have expanded into the mobile esports scene by signing a new American Brawl Stars team. Formerly known as the Juan Carlos team, this top-four North American squad now proudly represents the Pioneers.

Leading the team is captain Juan Carlos, who is joined by skilled players Pain and Secondbest. They are accompanied by a dedicated support staff, including long-time coach Filip, analyst LukLuk, and manager iiNK, ensuring a well-rounded and prepared squad.

Brawl Stars, a popular multiplayer mobile game developed by Supercell, involves players battling in various game modes, each with unique objectives. Teams of three compete to achieve goals like collecting gems, scoring goals in a soccer-like mode, or being the last team standing in a battle royale.

Despite a challenging 0-3 loss to Motomamis FA in the quarterfinal stage of the May North America Monthly Finals, the team remains determined and focused on future success. Look out for the Pioneers Brawl Stars team in the next Monthly Qualifier on June 8.

Pioneers Take Top 4 in Oceania Open Qualifier 5

The QuikTrip Pioneers Rocket League team showcased their competitive edge in the Oceania Major 2: Oceania Open Qualifier 5, held from May 11 to May 19. After advancing confidently from the double-elimination stage, the QuikTrip Pioneers entered the Swiss stage with momentum. They started strong with a decisive 3-0 sweep against Composure, delivering outstanding performances across the board. Superlachie led the charge in their series against FIZ6 Gaming, scoring seven goals to secure another 3-0 sweep. Despite a promising start against Chiefs Esports Club, highlighted by Fiberr's impressive hat trick in game one, the QuikTrip Pioneers lost 2-3. Undeterred, they rebounded against HSP, clinching a crucial 3-1 victory to close the Swiss stage.

In the Playoffs, the QuikTrip Pioneers defeated HSP 4-1 to advance to the semifinals, where they again faced Chiefs Esports Club. Unfortunately, the QuikTrip Pioneers lost 2-4 to end their Oceania Open Qualifier 5 journey.

However, the QuikTrip Pioneers have begun their campaign in Open Qualifier 6, aiming to build on their performance and secure a top-two spot for the upcoming RLCS Major 2 in London this June. They started strong on May 25 by defeating Chiaroscurists and Composure 3-0 in the Double Elimination stage, securing their place in the Swiss Stage, where the top 16 teams will compete on May 31. Stay tuned on Twitch to follow their progress in the ongoing qualifiers!
