January is well underway, and Pioneers esports start back up this month. In addition to our pros having the opportunity to compete, we look forward to creating opportunities in 2024 to engage with the local gaming community. Below are the Pioneers' recent highlights since the last newsletter:

Stateline Showdown Series 2024 Kickoff 

Get ready to embark on a gaming journey like never before as the Stateline Showdown Series storms into the Kansas City metro! Presented by the Army National Guard and hosted by Pioneers and LEVELUP Arena, this esports extravaganza promises an adrenaline-fueled experience. The Stateline Showdown Series consists of 8 LAN events across the Kansas City metropolitan area, 4 online events, and over $15,000 in prizes. The series will set the stage for an esports spectacle that promises to leave an indelible mark on the gaming landscape.

The series starts with a Call of Duty tournament on February 3 at LEVELUP Arena. The doors swing open at 9 am, welcoming gamers, fans, and anyone eager to witness the fusion of strategy and spectacle. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a casual gamer, the Stateline Showdown Series is your ticket to gaming glory. Rocket League Season Launches January 26 

Get ready to witness the thrilling start of the new Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) Season starting on January 26! Brace yourselves for an exciting season featuring a revamped format, expanded prizing, and a global prize pool exceeding $4,300,000. The 2024 RLCS Season comes with a streamlined structure, including three significant in-person tournaments—RLCS Major 1, RLCS Major 2, and the epic conclusion, the Rocket League World Championship. The journey starts with three online Open Qualifiers in each region, determining the top teams competing for international recognition. The RLCS broadcasts will be live on Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and Fortnite's Legends Landing island. The Pioneers’ star players, Scrub, Amphis, Fiberr, and coach Mock, are getting ready to dominate the field and catch all the action as the 2024 RLCS Season unfolds.  

And They're Off! eNASCAR Season Launches January 30

Get ready for an exciting journey as the Pioneers gear up for the upcoming 2024 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series that starts on January 30! NASCAR and iRacing have introduced significant changes to the 18-event schedule and race formats, promising one of the most unique and innovative seasons in series history. This season's innovations include a structured campaign with three regular season stages, each followed by the traditional four-race playoffs. Notably, the top point scorer in each regular season stage will earn a $3,000 bonus and five additional points for the playoffs.

Be sure to catch all the action as the Pioneers compete in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series, streaming live on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. CST on eNASCAR.com/live and NASCAR's Twitch and YouTube channels. The Pioneers are ready to rev up their engines, and your support is crucial as we embark on this thrilling journey!

Level Up for Midwest Fest 2024 - Volunteers Wanted!

The second annual Midwest Fest will take place June 7-9, 2024. If you can't wait to dive back into the Midwest Fest madness, the Pioneers are opening the doors early for volunteers interested in shaping the fest's lead-up. If you are keen to be part of the pre-show action, have innovative ideas, or want to throw in your two cents, let us know!
